Remaining Vigilant

It has been brought to our attention that hoax calls are being made to the public in South Lanarkshire claiming to be from the Health Board and asking to attend your home to discuss your medication.  Please be vigilant and do not let anyone into your home without relevant identification.   Please remember that if something does not seem right, it probably isn’t.  Don’t be embarassed to say NO!

Staff from Overtoun Medical Practice do not routinely attend Patient homes to discuss medication, nor do we know of any department who does.

Please pass this information to any vulnerable adults that you may know who may not have access to the internet/this website.
