New Patients

The Practice is happy to register anyone who lives in the G73 area and who is not currently registered with a local doctor.

All new patients will be required to complete a registration form and a medical questionnaire. These must be completed in the Practice and you should bring 2 forms of identification with you.  One of these should be photographic and the other a utility bill with your address.  Babies are the exception where a Birth Certificate will suffice as long as Parent/s are registered with the Practice.

To register with our Practice, you must attend between 10am-4pm or we may ask you to return another time.

New patients are invited to attend for a free health check with our Practice Nurse or Healthcare Support Worker.  You will not be able to attend a GP appointment until you have had your health check, unless you have an emergency medical condition.  Details are available from reception.

Please note that if you fail to attend your new patient Nurse appointment or your first GP appointment, your registration will not be accepted.

Preference of Practitioner
Patients are registered with the practice, not an individual GP. For administrative reasons your medical card will be issued in the name of one of the doctors; however, you can at any time express a preference for a particular doctor, for either all of your medical needs or on a case-by-case basis.  This preference will be recorded in your medical notes and we will do our best to respect your choice.  Do remember, though, that not all the doctors in the practice provide all services and specific doctors may not be immediately available.

Order your Prescriptions

  • If there are any problems with issuing your prescription, we may call you to let you know.
  • Please select where you want your prescription to go. Please also note that Pharmacies are currently taking up to 96 hours to issue your medication and would ask that you are patient.
